Who are these lessons for?
These private sessions are perfect for beginners learning manual mode, hobbyists wanting better event or portrait photos, and aspiring professionals looking to sharpen flash and real-world shooting skills.
What should I bring to the lesson?
Please bring:
Your camera (DSLR or mirrorless)
Charged batteries
Memory cards
Any lenses you own
Your flash (if you have one)
If you don’t own a flash yet, we can still cover the fundamentals using demonstration gear.
Do I need prior photography experience?
No. Lessons are customized to your skill level. We can start with the basics (exposure, aperture, shutter speed, ISO) or jump into advanced lighting and event techniques.
Where do the lessons take place?
Lessons are held at an agreed-upon location such as:
Local parks
Urban settings
Indoor venues
Client homes
Studio space (if available)
Location depends on what we are practicing (portraits, events, flash, etc.).
Will we actually shoot during the session?
Yes. These are hands-on sessions. You will practice shooting in real-time with guided instruction, corrections, and live feedback.
Can we focus only on one topic (for example, flash photography)?
Absolutely. Each lesson can be customized to focus on anything you desire. Some common examples include:
Event photography techniques
Portrait posing and lighting
On-camera flash
Off-camera flash basics
Camera settings mastery
Confidence shooting in manual mode
Do you offer editing lessons?
Yes. Lightroom editing basics are available as an add-on. We can also review your images and discuss improvements.
How do package sessions work?
Packages allow you to book multiple sessions at a discounted rate. Sessions can be scheduled weekly, bi-weekly, or based on your availability.
What is your cancellation policy?
Rescheduling requires at least 24-hour notice. Cancellations within 24 hours may result in forfeiture of the session fee.
Cancellations: purchased lessons and packages are non refundable.
Lessons must be scheduled and performed within 3 months of initial contract and payment.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes. Photography lessons make a great gift for aspiring photographers. Gift certificates are available upon request.
Can you help me build a portfolio?
Yes. We can plan styled shoots and curate images that strengthen your portfolio, especially for studio, event and portrait work.
How do I book a lesson?
